I don't know. There's a lot of confusion right now, as there seems to be a consensus that this can't all be raidchan's doing - if they have this kind of capability, then they've been seriously holding out during previous raids. Nobody seems to know what's going on with certainty.

This is getting serious, though, because an outage of this duration is the type of thing that site owners usually involve the FBI over (and moot has done that before).
