This is a fairly easy hack to do by hand - just edit the template to remove the <input>s for name and subject, and then remove the <var $name>, <var $trip> and <var $subject> statements. I might put it in as an option later, though.

Hijack the thread!

I don't know if this is a direction you want to take Wakaba, but some sort of image reorganization would be nice for packrats who run low-traffic boards. I'd like to rearrange old posts, leaving them available in really big threads (perhaps with added comments/subjects), without having to delete/repost images individually. It could be a pain to code, depending on how threads and links are handled.

Based on the fact that shiichan is getting closer and closer to forums like phpbb/invision, I have the idea of reverse engineering phpbb/invision to look like wakaba/futaba. Nice idea, am i rite?

PS, I am not waha.

Okay...why? Do you mean the same registered posting combined with the thread based appearance of Wakaba?

Shiichan isn't getting closer to anything lol

Sure that would be a start.(for the registered forum loving people,) but I mean farther than that. First, I'll copy the style(s,) and then the layout (the way threads are displayed and etc.) Registered forum do have the option of enabling guest posting(so it could be completly no registering.) I can then figure how to enable tripcodes, disable things like emoticons, and store cookies. Should be easy.

Whats would be the point of it?

There probably wouldn't be one, other then being able to say I did it. Though, it may offer some advantages sometimes (and of course, disadvantages other times.)

If only I wasn't so lazy...
