I think it could be useful for Kareha, when used as an image board.

It would make it much easier to scrape all the images, if you care about that. That's why 4chan doesn't do it.

Not really. It doesn't link to the images, but to the threads. It is still easier to just scrape the board pages.

Oh, I was looking in Links because I don't want to have 2chan images showing on a public computer.
