It's a bit tricky to say why the pnmtools wouldn't be working... There is a chance the code for it is broken, since it's not been tested in a while. I'll probably take a look at that when I get the chance. Otherwise, it may be any number of things... You can try adding a "die" before the line where the commands are executed to see what they output (unless they output to stderr, in which case you have to do some magic that I've forgotten). Anyone want to help me out with that?

Don't like them, for some of the same reasons I don't like capcodes. It's moderators playing under different rules than the rest of the board, discussion-wise. I can't think of any use for sticky threads that isn't more suited for the site front page.
