while less usefull overall, for wkachan especially could be very usefull:

at the moment wkachan is totally decentralised, so if someone posts something particually bad to board you have to wait for the respective admin to come online to delete it..

i propose having a general separate admin/pass account to the main admin account for wakachan hosts being distributed amongst wakachan admins for deleting obviously bad posts, but having no other admin privalages. so overall, wakachan has more protectiuon from obvious spam

gah, post slightly incoherent, but you get the idea :)

How is that different from the current admin login, though? The only thing admins can do is delete posts, ban users, and make admin posts. The new version lets you edit the spam definitions, too. Nuking the board requires a separate password, and any config changes have to be done by accessing the server itself.

cripes! forgot i even posted this :$

what i meant was that for wakachan, each admin has their own admin account as it stands now. but i was proposing having a secondary shared username/password for wakachan admins meaning we could edit posts on other peoples boards in case of spamming/really bad images being posted...

it's really not an issue at all right now, but as wakachan gets more popular it might be an idea. i know i can only moderate my boards ~6/24hours a day absolute max during weekdays. so for instance something very evil/illegal could be posted and it'd stay there for up to 18hours before i notice/could do anything about it...

Yes, but I mean you could just give the other admins the admin password as it is right now.
