Hello, I recently came upon a problem when trying to upload a .jpg file today. Just yesterday, someone else uploaded a .jpg file, but starting today, it suddenly gives errors saying that the filetype isin't supported. I've checked all the configuration files for permissions but I couldn't find a reason why it's giving the error. Any idea what went wrong? It's been going well for the past 3-4 months already.
Probably it's not actually a JPEG file, but something like a BMP named .jpg.
Can we have a link to your board? Sometimes that helps.
Make sure the file isn't named .jpeg, I think that can confuse Wakaba. Not sure though. Do .png and .gif still work?
I've tried many different .jpg files already.
http://pita-ten.org/ping is the link.
To make people stop using them. Or rather, to make people aware that they are using them. Certain versions of IE have a tendency to suddenly convert saved images to BMP.
That's funny. I tried posting, and didn't get an error, but the HTML page was wiped out.
Yea, it did that once or twice for me. I don't know what's up. When it does that, I have to rebuild the cache to get it to work again.
Maybe your disk quota/free space is exceeded?
91 pages?! By God, turn down your thread expiration date.
Haha, well, I have 1gb of space just for the pics. Only used 150 mb so far.
Nevermind, my friend/host just told me he used up the space. He's gonna delete that stuff. I think that may be the problem.
Ok, that was the problem. Sorry for the trouble. Thanks for helping me out! ^^
Like it or not, GIF still plays a role for animations. Nobody likes MNG, and APNG got forgotten the second it was invented.
