Acclimatizing people to image board culture (8)

One of the annoying things about using image boards is the people who look down on an anonymous post simply because they themselves use a name. Since image boards are relatively new to most english speakers, I think it's understandable that some newbies would carry over such preconceptions after only experiencing registration boards. What would be effective ways to change this perception without completely turning off the user to the concept of anonymous posting?

I'm hoping after hanging around a while and seeing other people make fools of themselves by taking that stance they'll loosen up a bit.
