YKK Forum

you guys might want to watch honey & clover

Was rewatchign Honey & clover and thought you all might also be intrested in the series. It's got more of a plot and direction then YKK but it's slow, with awesome art. I find it a great one to relax to like Aqua/AriaMight be worth watching. Course I'm easy to please, i watch everything from PetoPeto-san (another good one) to MAR to Ichigo Marshmallow to Full Metal Panic.

Heres the anidb link for it.

Honey & Clover is good, this is very true. I wouldn't be comparing it to YKK, but it is definitely worth watching. Also, some scenes are set in Yokohama!

I haven't been very impressed with C1's fansubbing work in the past, though. I'd suggest getting Solar's version: http://a.scarywater.net/solar/Honey%20%26%20Clover.torrent

Hmm, looks nice. Is that futuristic stuffs in the background? Wow! I came across ARIA first, but for goodness sakes, how many "Earth is decomposing but everyone is happy" mangas are there?

Please stop spamming every thread about how you like Aria already.

Now I'm mad. Why is it spamming? You guys are all geeks. I didn't even say I liked ARIA. I only said I came across it first. I DO like it better, though! Its fans aren't so mean or yuri-crazed.

Off topic, Jen's right. No need to get anonymously snippy, there's room on the board for different preferneces :)

Anyway, Honey & Clover isn't futuristic at all, very much present-day normality with peculiar people to drive the series forward. I understand there's a manga as well, but I haven't had a chance to compare the anime to it as of yet.

IMHO, the first season was rather brilliant, but a few episodes into the second season my interest somewhat waned. It should also be noted that the "Special Episodes" F and L are hi-freaking-larious.

Watched it. Loved it. And so on and so forth. I love serene, quiet manga and anime...I also love hilarious and fantasy anime.
