Chances are your just gonna have to sit through bittorrent if you want to see it. You might be able to get it on filesharing programs like kazzaa or DC++ but in the end its probably a safer bet jsut to go for BT.

You know, this is not just an Internet product. It is an actual DVD that is for sale.

The only DVDs available for purchase are either the original Japanese ($60+, region 2) or bootlegged copies with questionable subtitles from Hong Kong, so I can understand the appeal of fansubs for this situation. Finding a torrent would be the quick and economic choice for our friend (sans a guilty conscience?).

Though it would be great if some people can get together to voice-in an English version of YKK if proper licensing cannot be found. An independent fan project that I'd root for!

I'm weary of that,it's hard to find people who have proper voices to act out as voice actors(er what?)
Most of my friends told that it's very hard, since you'll have to be in tune with the char you're acting as,and god knows I suck at that.....

But hey.if you managed to,good on ya!!

Please Do! I have been a reader of YKK for a while now, and I would love to see it in motion. YSI would be a good alternative to BT, I think.

I've finished downloading. The total size of the 2 OVA is circa 470 MB, 235 MB each. Kick me an email if any of you want to have it yousendit. I could also chop it up into pieces with WinRAR if you specify as such.

If you can get the individual OAV files down under 250Mb have a look at Megaupload.com. This is an advertising-paid-for service that will host large files for free as long as the downloader is willing to sit through about 30 seconds of advertising before it starts the transfer. I don't know if they can stay in business with that revenue model but while it's there it can be used for our benefit.
