Wow! Cafealpha.org totally slipped under my radar.
That's what I get for not following the forums, I guess :)
Can't really comment on chapter 126, though. I've limited myself to one chapter of YKK/week, so I'll be with you in five weeks, when I've finished your other chapters :)

Thank you all! I just looked at ykk and it's a beautiful job.
But I do have a question. On page 4 Alpha is concerned about Makki's legs. Why? It's not like Makki is wearing a skirt or anything revealing.

I don't think it's what Makki's wearing that has Alpha concerned. It's how she's sitting that has her more concerned. If you look at it Makki's feet are on the furniture and her knees are spread eagle. It's not ladylike and I think Alpha's trying to instill some manners and professional courtesy in Makki. Imagine if you will walking in on a small town coffee shop and seeing the staff sitting there reading the way Makki was. You'd more than likely wonder if they cared the customers. So it's more manners than seeing something inappropriate.

First, thanks to the elves for keeping translating this wonderful comic. It is only a few months since I found this site, mostly by chance, and as everybody else, I have fallen madly in love with this work, and "falling in love", even though may seem exaggerated it is the only expression that matches my perception of the comic.
However, returning to chapter 126, I love how Mr.Ashinano uses "silence", even if it is a strange word to use when referring to comic. He does not write a single word of his conversation, which is quite a cunning and risky decisition.
We, as readers, have witnessed a few meetings and can anticipate very accurately what they are talking about, mostly about trivialities, but the important is, and what Ashinano remarks, is the silent, and much more deeper dialogue, among them... the one that Makki realised, and makes her "see Alpha's face by first time"
And it is also very subtle how Makki's maturity is shown... by deciding not to stay with them....
I cannot wait for more YKK...

Thank you for another great chapter of YKK. I like the topics that Makki was reading about "Armoured Fish . .", etc. heh heh.
It appears that Alpha and Makki have formed a sisterly friendship since they have started working with each other. It is amazing how Makki has grown up over the course of the series.
This chapter has made me wonder what would happen if Maruko showed up at the cafe now. Come to think of it, outside of Maruko's customers, we don't really get to see Maruko interact with humans. Would Maruko get along with Makki? What would Makki think about this robot who is so different from Alpha?
