It's a constant work in progress, it's held together with duct tape and seamen, but it's in working order at this point so I've decided to make it public early.

There's a couple things that people have emailed me about that I'll be adding in due time, and there are other various softwares that I remember seeing over the years but I don't have any links for.

Tell me what you think in this thread and I'll do my best to shoehorn it into my site. Thanks in advance.

How about a table -- a complete comparison between the different imageboard software packages out there?

• 7chan, 4chan replacement.
  
• 99chan, better 4chan replacement.
  
• Tohno-chan, a chan for oldfags.

• The page is centered, making it look like shit.
  
• There is a period in the header
  
• The page begins with the word "hi." No.
  
• That whole "channel" shit. - Oh my god you know about 2channel! You're so smart!

• Table is too thin and table cells contain too much information. Seriously, why the fuck are you using a table?
  
• "What is has" - You apparently don't know the word "Features". Or "it".

I'll fix my spelling, thank you, but I like the center. Also "Chan" is short for "Channel" universally. You'll find that fact in threads on this board.

Also It occurred to me to link to sites like ED and the Tanainn wiki, YS, and Lurkmoarpedia. I'll do that now.

I don't have a problem with people setting up their own websites, but you are filling a niche that has already been filled for years, by pages like The Overchan and various people's personal web sites.

I can't argue with my spelling. Yeah it's shit.
Also the Overchan is a list of every chan evar. That's not what I put on my page. And the point is that all those things are spread out over many peoples personal sites, Chansoft is for putting it all in one place. I *know there's lots of stuff missing at the moment because I have memories of using software in past years that I no longer have the bookmarks for.

Oh, the darknet image is not the only thing that appears there, it randomly generates, refresh a few times to see more stuff. :3

I'm currently looking for some Windows only program from a few years back. I that that it was called "X Chan directory dumper" or something similar. It was a desktop program that was supposed to be able to do directory dumper on any (or just most?) chan. If anyone knows where it's being developed or has a clean copy of it please tell me. Thanks.
