The (ab)USE OF IMAGEBOARDS AS ALT FILE HOSTING SITES (3)

I know a number of imageboards that that allow uploads of files of quite a large size (up to 200mb) and in many different formats. A couple months ago I wanted to transfer 8 20mb files to a bunch of folks and my webserver was dead so i decided to upload the files to a relatively slow moving imageboard that permits large uploads. About a week later I wanted to send these folks a couple dozen 100mb files and decided to use the same method since they were all now familiar with the site (also less use of my own meager bandwidth). I wonder if I am the only person who behaves in this fashion or if this is a trend that I am as yet unaware of.

Just use MediaFire instead.

No. There's too many web services out there that are way superior. That's not even lazy. It's just as easy and brainless to upload to an upload service.
