I want to learn Django (already know Python) and I have the idea of writing a kareha clone in Django. I already have a few ideas like:

• special CSS support for holidays
• special CSS support for b& posts
• Django admin interface fully customized
• tripcode generator and/or checker for the admin
• special admin interface for moderators

What should be added? What is essential? I plan to mimic what already exists (the kareha front-end), and add a few tools to help the admin and moderators.

a few more things:

• the ability to switch between kareha-mode and tinychan-mode
• CSS for cell phones {with special domain name)
• template everything (header, footer)
