I see that a lot of people translate Alpha's family name as Hasseno, including the scans on this site, but a lot of people use Hatsuseno.
I have the tankoubans and I can see both the kanji that comprises Alpha's name and the furigana next to it. While it's very small, the furigana certainly looks like a large "tsu". The two kanji are "hatsu" and "seno". Also, at Kodanclub.com, Kodansha's English language website, they write her name as Hatsuseno.
I don't have the anime, so I can't say much about that, but I've been told it sounds like Hasseno there. But isn't there a tendency to slur some 4-syllable names down to three? For example, Matsushita is commonly pronounced Matsushta.

"Hatsuseno". "Hasseno" is an error in the translation, based on a misreading of the furigana.
