YKK Forum

So, what happens on August 31?

I bought the August issue of Afternoon in Tokyo, and I finally noticed the one page ad in the middle of the book (p. 312) about YKK. I'm slow, so I can't figure out what it has to say, but the date 8/31 after what looks like a logotype (for the new series?) is at the bottom of the page (with an inactive URL for http://aftm.jp). Anyone have a clue?

Looks like there could be something there. Here is the whois info for that domain. It appears to be registered to a trademark handling firm and is pointed at Kodansha's servers.

Portable Afternoon,
I think it's a pay service to read Afternoon with your phone.
I wouldn't be supprised if it was limited exclusively to japan.

Ah, that would appear to be it -- I can see the site at that address on my Docomo keitai. Haven't yet found any obvious YKK material (tho my Japanese isn't that great, so it'd be easy for me to miss it). Looks like phone wallpaper, flash animations, etc for various Kodansha series among other stuff. Its subscription, 315yen a month.
