I just discovered YKK hentai doujins exist...

No offense, but you're pretty naive to think that they DIDN'T exist--especially considering some of the racy imagery in YKK.

Every manga and anime series out there is going to have Doujins of both the innocent PG fan comic type and the provocative racier NC-17 hentai type. As was mentioned before the underlying Shoujo-ai in the story between the three main robots leaves itself open to more adult type Doujins. I see nothing wrong with that because it's one person's fan fiction in picture format. You're getting upset because like a lot of people you felt that Alpha and the others could not and should not be capable of expressing love in a physical manner.
You have two choices in a situation like this. One is to continue down the path you're going on and search out every single Doujin, reading them, and get all worked up over nothing because you believed the series was untaintable and what you saw was wrong. The other one is to calm down, don't go back to where you found them, don't read them, and forget they exist. I'd chose the second option. You're making moutains out of mole hills. There are far worse things out there than just Alpha and Kokone in adult situations. Remember, they're not even human so there's nothing wrong with it and you don't even have to read them to begin with.

Ashinano Hitoshi himself has done hentai YKK doujinshi. They're anthologies that he edits and although he doesn't do hentai sketches of YKK characters, other contributors do. There's some earlier threads about this.
There's at least three members of this forum that own some of them.

Howdy,
I don't remember Ashinano doing YKK hentai himself. I know he's done dojinshi under the name of "SUKE", and I know that several folks on this board own YKK dojinshi, but I don't think he's associated with the hentai output himself.
There's more info in this thread.

As I said, he acts as editor, much as Kenichi Sonoda (Gunsmith Cats, Exaxxion) and Kaishaku (Steel Angel Kurimi, UFO Princess Valkyrie) do with their doujinshi. That is, they contribute covers and some inside content that may or may not be hentai. In the ones that I've read (Terotero Chronicle and Come Together), Ashinano does some (very mild) hentai drawings of characters from other series as well as non-hentai pencil roughs from YKK.

Don't get upset easily over that, that stuff is normal to the typical society over there(Though most still don't think so).
It's just that the typical society over at Japan has their own way of viewing that 'adult' world. And don't blame all of them. Like any other society around the world, there are always the minority partitions of the population that are better than the typical type, adding to the fact that they think more advanced too(Ashinano is one to tell). These people, aren't the same as the others mentioned earlier. So don't blame all of them.
If you search all over, you'll find numerous hentai doujins for various kinds of anime, manga, games or even more. Wether the original product is either popular or not, they own the likeliness to be made into doujins by fans. Even the original authors don't get their sleeves up over this so you particularly should not.
