Let's think about the Taapon, now. Maybe it was built to evacuate people from Earth as land slowly sank underwater. It was meant to be a small world - with people reproducing and all that - and when it was safe to go down, the remaining people would send down the escape boat and rebuild humanity n Earth. Hmm.... now that I say it, it sounds a bit silly, but what do you think?
