For a while, this frame http://ykk.misago.org/Volume8/26-27 (the upper one) had me worried. I knew I had seen it before.
And suddenly I remembered where. It resembled a painting by Ma Yuan (active 1190-1225), precisely this one...

The similarities goes beyond the composition. In Ma Yuan painting, the main character is a philosopher, a taoist I think, who watches the world... like Ashinano's Alpha...
