Chapter 132

I'd glad if anyone share their guess of what Sensei was thinking in the chapter.

She's definitely up to something with that truck. No idea what.

Surely the things closer to her includes the old fogey? :)

It feels like she's retiring, that her life's work is done, and now she's looking to settle down and be happy. Maybe Alpha is what is done. Or maybe Alpha has inspired her to take this course of action.

Howdy,

I'm pretty sure that Sensei is borrowing the truck from Ojisan.

Since Ojisan is no longer travelling to the gas stand, he doesn't need it as much. That would give Sensei the opportunity to go visit Ojisan more frequently if she desires.

Sensei seems like she has always done what she wishes, and has enjoyed each stage of life. I think her comment to Alpha is just her way of showing her appreciation for Alpha's friendship and company. I also think her words are a way of saying "I've had a full life, have no complaints, and want you to have the same."

Best,

Dave

The dramatic convention is that when characters give away their momentoes they are anticipating their death. This sets up the epilogue. - naturally the epilogue is different depending on whether they die or not.

However In real life, my mom started giving away her momentoes 20 years ago and is still going strong. Bless her!
