i was thinking that since YKK has been in publacation for something like 10 years now, if someone whould have had (and been able to follow throught) the idea to open a cafe alpha of their own.... after a quick search i found a real cafe alpha. in London no less.
http://www.allinlondon.co.uk/directory/1150/23515.php
this one is probably not based on YKK, but how awsome would that be if it was. maybe further search will reveal one.

I did a Google Image search and found this site: http://home4.highway.ne.jp/a7m2a/cafe/cafe_alpha.htm
But my Japanese is only good enough that I can read the katakana so I don't know what it's about.
I also came across this: http://www008.upp.so-net.ne.jp/t_kuni/cg/kaidasi.htm
Which I don't remember seeing before, but is very neat.

Taking the link to the real life Cafe Alpha, pasting it into Google and clicking on translate, I got some weird stuff. After some re-parsing you might extract some meaning. What was clearer, however, was this passage:
"By any chance, don't you think? this - the ち ゃ it is with being the A7 series.... ".
From this I will assume that at least the web page author saw the connection.
