...While waiting patiently for the behind-the-scenes fairies to bring us translation goodness I thought I'd try something.
I particularly liked front page image on this chapter so I grabbed my coloring book (Photoshop) and got to work. I think I should stop before I hurt myself. I hope you like it.

Oh wow. I like how you made it all nice and soft and not all cell-like. The soft colors really show off the mood of the series a lot. Incidentally, the colored version looks better than the scan you did. I think that scan came out kind of light so coloring it in made it better. Keep up the amazing work.

I have actually never seen a coloured drawing of her so I just had to guess.

Kage,
The 128 cover is absolutely beautiful. It captures an ephemeral feeling and really highlights Alpha's growing maturity.
I'd love to see more covers in the same style!

I liked it (both). Specifically because my colours lack some subtleness that I noticed in your work.
From an older thread:

I will try the title page some day too.
Thanks... it was inspiring.

Quite well. Additonally one can add some noise on large monocolor surfaces, like clothing, and using a sharper light, as Ashinano does. But nevertheless, enjoyable.
