Found this article about robots, then noticed the photograph of "Actroid", and did a double take.
The photo looks like a real Japanese woman, yet it's a robot?

OK, now I am seriously freaked.
A Google search on "Actroid robot" will return many hits, but apparently reporters have actually spoken with it and report there is a sense of humor. One official site is:

The Japanese industry have always been serious about robotics, but this has me in awe. We may be seeing REAL Alpha series robots in our lifetimes.
