The Time Milk Wound the Spring is a short story written and drawn in 1979 by Yousuke Takahashi. It is a delightfully surreal little tale of childhood and giant dinosaurs. It was published in Takahashi's first volume of collected manga. He would later go on to become a quite productive and famous horror manga writer, but this early story is more fantastic than grotesque.
