Also, 8chan (infinity chan) is a much different style imageboard than most existing ones. It allows anyone to create a board and post whatever they want on it, a huge plus from the classic restrictive chans. In this sense, it makes it possible to be a chan for anyone and everyone, something any interest-centric chan wasn't able to achieve in the past. (A chan for technology and anime can't cater to those looking for music and art, for example, unless the admins decide to make a board for it)
