I realize this is WAY after the fact, but man has 4chan gone downhill since '08. /r9k/ was good for a while, but then it descended into typical racism and sexism without /b/'s charm (although that's not entirely fair.../b/'s racism used to be tongue in cheek, it's not so much anymore). And /b/ is pretty much a cesspool with the occasional diamond in the rough. But, is this really moot's fault? Sure, he used to be a weeaboo faggot, maybe he still is, but I think he's grown up. And /r9k/ was created with the best of intentions. I think 4chan has faced the problem of every internet community: the bigger it gets, the more watered down it becomes. Sadly, there's little to do about it. /r9k/ was supposed to be the solution, or at least A solution, but it slowly became shit.

I wish we could recapture the spirit of early 4chan or early /r9k/. But that won't happen, sadly. I visit 4chan less and less.
